Absolutely great nights stay. The beds were comfy, the staff were friendly and the room was very clean. So much so that even my OCD was pleased to see even the free tea and coffee were so symmetrically placed and perfectly placed. Great accessible hotel.
Travelodge in this part of Inverness office fantastic value for money. The hotel is basic but located in quiet area the service people at the reception are very helpful. The beds are fitted with very comfortable mattresses there is a TV set here and in the toilet the hot water runs straight away. Clearly Travelodge understand what their customers want and delivers exactly that.

Stayed at this hotel for about +- 40 nights since September on business I cannot fault this hotel in anyway..Its was/is a world class hotel and the service is fantastic. There was nothing the whole hotel team wouldn't do for you. They bent over backwards to accommodate. The food is amazing ! Shout out to the whole catering team. A great Family run business. Looking forward to visiting again in 2018 with my family. Wishing all the staff a Merry Crimbo and prosperous New year.

We loved our stay! We stayed in the second building and had a room overlooking the Loch Ness! Housekeeping was amazing as was room service. The room was spacious and bedding was comfortable. The location of the hotel made it easy to get to all the cities' attractions and shopping! It is within walking distance of the both the bus and the train stations. Many delightful restaurants were located nearby as well. The staff were very helpful in helping us with our planned excursions and needed drivers! The bar and lounge of the hotel were cozy and comfortable and we certainly enjoyed the Starbuck's coffee! We would definitely recommend this hotel and will most likely return to it when we take our next trip to Inverness!
Was lovely. Attended for staff training with work. Room was very clean and well decorated. Bathroom gorgeous. Good bar and food, breakfast really good. Only problem when we were there the pool facilities were closed, but that's not really a huge problem, just made the most of the bar instead! Other than this can't fault the place.

Went here on a whim as I read on TripAdvisor that the food was good for Sunday carvery. Walked half an hour from the centre and was actually quite glad we did. Although not a huge choice of items (beef/pork, roast potatoes/cabbage/cauliflower cheese/carrots/broccoli) it was well cooked and tasty. Plates are not huge so don't go there thinking you will have a huge feast however for me and the husbear, it was nice to eat and not feel that we were dreading the walk back. Prices were fairly good at £9.50 per carvery and the drinks were also quite cheap.
Hearty homemade food in a lovely friendly atmosphere. Polite, efficient staff...what more can you ask for?! ☺🍴

It's now called Platform 8.Just had a refit. Brilliant experience as more space. Food is great value and excellent taste. Great selection of beers and lager
Recently refurbished, now known as Platform 8, has one of it's screens on live link to Inverness railway timetable - nice touch!

The rooms are a bit small, but nice, clean, well maintained, great views, especially if your room faces the castle, quiet location with easy parking. pretty nice area to walk around in the evening. No complaints, and I would gladly stay there again. Roads in the area were a tiny bit confusing, but not too bad, the castle is a short walk away and looks fantastic at night.
We had a great stay. Comfortable and tidy rooms, parking space, and an excellent breakfast! The owners are also very helpful and nice

Awesome host. Very cosy. Great location
Really lovely host, affordable and accommodating. The room was spacious and had all the necessary immenaties. As a break from the norm the standard King James Bible which has grown accustomed to all hotels had been replaced by a copy of cool running on DVD, which I can't help but he amazed by!

My favorite place to stay while we traveled through Scotland. Amazing & friendly service in the perfect area to experience all of Inverness!!!!
This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The owner is very nice and let us check in early which really made our day so much better after travel. The breakfast is good. We were in room 1 which was en suite (private bath) and quite comfortable. Checkout time is 10:00.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

We stayed at this wonderful old house for a week and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Fiona provides everything needed. We especially loved the big country kitchen where we ate every morning looking out at the garden. We walked to town daily and to the train station. This house made our Highland experience complete.

My husband and I had a great time at the rookery nook. Simon was very pleasant and easy to work with/talk to in booking overseas with us, as well as in person. The place was very clean, in good condition, and extremely cozy on a rainy Scotland evening by the fireplace. The place has nice easy access to bus routes and main highways, with a grocery store/gas station close by. We hope to return someday soon.

PARKING DIFFICULTIES? Within 500m thereof, at the rear of University of Highlands &Islands (Executive Offices) at Riverside, Gardens, adjacent The Rivers Ness, a little downstream of Ness Islands, just prior to The Eden Court, Theatre, immediately next to the middle of three, iron suspended footbridges, is ample parking. Notably on evenings & weekends. Notably Christmas & New Year Holidays season, even during University Holidays Very much so, through out, mid October through mid May outwith the holiday season, when then most apartments there and at the rear thereof, within Bishops Park adjacent the LGA Councils Administrative Halls just off Glen Urquahart Road, just prior to Eden Court Theatre behind the Invermess Tennis Club & in the most unlikely event, one should need to travel underneath the Bishops Park apartments (at the rear of Riverside Gardens where yet more ample parking should freely avail itself. Even for Camper Vans. Pariticularly those on limited budges. Mid Oct to mid May one can almost invariably use any bay numbered or not as most of the Flats to Let are then vacant but maybe best use those marked V.istor...why pay extortionate fees at the Highlands & Islands, Civic Hall and /or St Andrews Cathedral Car Park...don't you pay far to much fuel duty & notably road tax as it is? Should you be travelling from Beauly then (from Telford Roundabout adjacent Aldi, following signs for Fort William, turn into Bishops Road, first left past the LGA's H&I, Civic Halls past the roundabout then, ontoward the river and first right adjacent Highland Hospice & Leonard Cheshire Homes, immediately next to the suspended iron foot bridge & first right. In the most unlikely event it is full, there is a good turning circle therein. Should you have travelled from the town and /or city centre, having crossed Ness Bridge turn first left into Ness walk. Drive on past the Cathedral & Eden Court Theatre, turn left. At the mid -suspended footbridge, turn first right into UHI, first right & follow the road around the back thereof where ubiquitous free parking should almost invariably avail. This parking is probably less than 500m from Bught Park, (north bankside of river Ness) as is The Aquadome, Tennish Club, Leonard Cheshire Homes, Highland Hospice, Eden Court Theatre, St Andrews Cathedral, Palace & Columba Hotels, the Riva & Rocpool restaurants. The City Centre , Castle & Museum (South bankside of river Ness) as is The Tavern Ness Islands, need I say more? Should one be staying at the Columba & Palace Hotels given the awful parking thereabouts it maybe best drop off luggage and go park ones car at Riverside Gardens & as & when necessary, collect & drive back to collect baggage) all delightful walks alongside the river, anytime of year, bad & notably in good weather. Having resided there at No 32, Bishops Park, IV3 5TB circa 2006 - 12 & ditto, Riverside Gardens 2017, I can assure you, I never ever got tired of leaving both car & motorcyle & walking or cycling there along. I can't even start to convey how much pleasure it gave me & shall dearly miss it. PARKUP and enjoy. (There's a brand new coffee shop of which, I am led to believe, will be administered by those from Bught Park about to open adjacent the Eden Court Theatre, next to, the river too)...ENJOY!
I stay two nights in my motor home. Its very nice in good location and good price comparing to other campsites
